Questions & Answers

Straight answers.

Do you sell through dealers?+

No. Ghost River Systems sells factory-direct, worldwide. You deal with the people who design and build the equipment. No dealer markup, no middleman between you and parts or support.

Do you handle installation and commissioning?+

Yes. Every machine is installed, commissioned, and proven at your facility, and your crew is trained on it before we leave. That applies wherever the facility is. We commission equipment internationally.

What throughput can the Wraith Bale Former reach?+

Up to 20 metric tonnes per hour, depending on HPU (hydraulic power unit) configuration. We spec the hydraulic package to your throughput targets during quoting. Crop and moisture also factor in.

How many Wraith bales fit in a shipping container?+

60 bales at 400 kg each, for 24 metric tonnes in a standard 40-foot container. That density is the core of the freight economics for export operations.

Are bales sleeved or strapped?+

Your choice. The Wraith produces 400 kg bales either sleeved or strapped, depending on what your market and handling chain prefer.

What is the Tempest Bale Slicer for?+

The domestic market, hay moving inside the country. It slices 3×3 and 3×4 field bales into consistent, retail-ready 40–45 lb bales for feed stores, transport, and end users.

What happens after the sale?+

Parts and support for the life of the machine. We stock hydraulic and electrical components based on real failure patterns, respond same-day on machine-down requests, and customers get a portal for parts quotes, orders, and service requests.

Can you build a machine that doesn’t exist yet?+

Yes, that’s our custom engineering program. Operators regularly need equipment the industry has never actually designed. You bring the problem and fund the engineering; we design, build, and commission the first unit at your facility, and launch partners keep launch pricing when it becomes a standard GRS machine.

How do I get pricing?+

Request a quote through the site or call us. Machine pricing depends on configuration (HPU, options, commissioning location), so every quote is prepared for your operation, and it comes with a direct follow-up, not an auto-generated PDF.

Where are you located?+

Headquartered in Alberta, Canada, with our office and parts warehouse in Cochrane. Our equipment runs in facilities from Western Canada to the U.S. Midwest, and we sell and commission worldwide.
